Personal
Chris has been married to his wife, Donna, for 36 years and they are the lucky parents of two beautiful daughters, Morgan and Taylor. He loves being called “Gramps” by his new grandson, Jordan. When not playing bridge, Chris enjoys bike riding, reading mystery novels and going to the lake with his family. Chris has a BA in History from the University of Houston and a J.D. from the University of Texas.

Professional
Chris began playing Bridge professionally in the ACBL at the age of 17. He is a World Grand Master and an ACBL Grand Life Master with over 53,000 ACBL Masterpoints. After practicing law for ten years, Chris returned to professional bridge full time in 2007. While representing the United States, Chris placed 4th in the 1986 World Open Pairs in Miami, Florida (at the age of 26) and again placed 4th in the 1998 World Open Pairs in Lille, France. Chris continues to represent the USA in international invitational events on a regular basis.

Chris won the Barry Crane Top 500 Masterpoint race in 2017, 2016, 2015, 2013 & 2011. At the national level, Chris won the 2016 Von Zedwitz Life Master Open Pairs and the 2016 Roth Open Swiss, Jacoby National Swiss Team in 2007, the US team Trials in 2007, and the 1989 Reisinger Board-a-Match Teams. Along with these wins, Chris has many 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finishes. Just for Fun: Playing in a series of Bridge Pro Tour individuals during the year 2003, Chris won $16,400 and remains the BPT all-time money leader.
