About Stefanie Scott

Personal
Stefanie is a transplant to sunny Dallas, Texas from the bitter cold of Highland, Michigan. She earned a B.A in Health Science from Central Michigan University in 1992. Teaching is Stefanie’s passion, having taught college levels classes, developed fitness programs for corporations, and owned a riding academy in Michigan, where she both managed and taught.

Stefanie comes from a distinguished bridge family. She is the daughter of Petra Hamman and David Doran, and the stepdaughter of Bob Hamman. Stefanie learned bridge from her mother about 10 years ago, but spent her entire life playing Euchre, Spades, and other games with her family. The pride and joy of her life is her son, Aiden, who is talented baseball player with aspirations of playing in college.

Professional
Stefanie is a Silver Life Master with multiple top five finishes at national bridge tournaments and continues to pursue that elusive national title. She is also an ACBL Certified Instructor and loves to teach. As you will hear her say around the club…BRIDGE IS THE BEST GAME EVER!!
